The initiator and spokesperson of the Research Training group (RTG) is Prof. Dr. Christa E. Müller. The goal of the RTG is to modernise medicinal chemistry and train a new generation of medicinal chemists and researchers at the interface to neighbouring disciplines. In addition, the projects are to contribute to the development of new drugs. The funding amounts to just under 6.3 million euros for five years.
