The Pharmaceutical Institute has set itself the task of providing young and talented pharmacists, biologists and chemists a platform for the later career. As an employee in the AK Müller, you have the chance to view and approach questions from several sides. You will be supported by the team's extensive know-how and a wide range of existing technologies. You can apply for a bachelor's or master's thesis, but also doctoral theses or postdoctoral positions.

Two doctoral scholarships for International PhD students

within the Research Training Group RTG/GRK 2873

The University of Bonn offers two PhD scholarship financed by the DAAD within the DAAD-Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP).
The PhD students will be associated to the Research Training Group RTG/GRK 2873 focused on “Tools and Drugs of the Future – Innovative Methods and New Modalities in Medicinal Chemistry” (www.grk2873.uni-bonn.de/en).

Applications are welcome from developing and emerging countries. The scholarship will start in February 2025 or later for a maximum of 4 years. Applicants must have an excellent Master’s degree or equivalent in pharmacy/pharmacology, (medicinal) chemistry, biochemistry, drug research or related fields. The selection will be made on a competitive basis.

Doctoral scholarships within the DAAD Graduate School Scholarship (GSSP) follow a two-stage procedure. First, the RTG 2873 speakers will select suitable doctoral candidates for two DAAD scholarships, who will then submit their applications to the DAAD. In a second step, the DAAD will award and administer the scholarships.
